About
I work at the intersection of computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning and data science. My research ranges from biometrics, facial and gesture analysis, and event-based vision to meteorology, remote sensing and environmental applications.
Alongside academic research, I have led and contributed to technology-transfer and consulting projects for public institutions, international organizations and industry. Recent applications include electrical-network analytics, natural-language processing, biometric liveness verification, digital archives, weather prediction and environmental monitoring.
